That’s the return date of WYATT!— the captivating, thought-provoking, and oh-so entertaining radio show!
WYATT! does a deep dive into those timely and critical issues that impact Gay/SGL (Same-Gender-Loving) men with a diverse set of LGBTQ movers, shakers, and change agents. The podcast is absorbing, informative, provocative…and sprinkled with sly, spicy (and sometimes a wee bit) scandalous humor! The rapidly growing podcast airs on both YouTube and Spotify.
This Saturday’s show is another installment in my series, Bedtime with Porn Guys! Oh. HELL. YEAHHH! Adult entertainment–or porn–can be an intrinsic, fundamental part of the lives of more than a few Gay or SGL (Same-gender loving) men.
And for a variety of (naughty) reasons! LOL!
The adult entertainer on tap is Mr. J.D. Daniels, who’s been in the “skin game” for nearly two decades! This uncommon longevity is a testament to his enduring popularity and staying power. And not to mention, hawtness!
Like James Brown was in music, J. D. is one of the hardest workin’ men in the adult industry! He’s also a savvy and innovative businessman and entrepreneur, having just established LUXXXE Studios!
As you will discover in our exclusive sit-down, Mr. Daniels is grounded, forthright, thoughtful…and so dang personable! The adult performer describes himself as an “old soul in a young person’s body. An old-fashioned country boy.”
I ask this celebrated and immensely popular adult performer what has motivated him to stay in “the game” for so long. “A lot of it is positivity and God, that’s basically what it is,” J. D. responds. “I have grown up in a Christian household all my life, raised in the church, and still carry a lot of the church with me…that helps me stay encouraged.”
He continues. “In this business, I wasn’t always motivated in certain aspects because sometimes in any industry, you can get a little discouraged…you feel the competition…you feel you’re not good enough, I’ve felt all those things for years. I always had to rise up.”
“Sometimes, I didn’t feel I fit the porn star criteria…finally now that I’m getting older, into my forties…I finally have decided that I just don’t–excuse my French–give a shit anymore as far as how people in the business perceive me.”
J. D. has won several influential Raven’s Eden Awards (porn’s version of the People’s Choice Awards) including Best Actor in 2018, 2019, and 2020; and then this year’s Performer of the Decade. The Raven’s Eden Awards are notable and influential in adult entertainment. I ask him how these accolades make him feel. “It’s quite an honor! That’s what made me finally feel better about myself as a performer. To get those sorts of accolades and honors is a very big deal. It actually shows you have a place in this business.”
Daniels discusses his new role as founder and CEO head, and what separates LUXXXE from the “rest of the pack.” He states, “We’re definitely a little bit different because I’m bringing more of a vintage feel and element, like in the seventies, eighties, and nineties–and integrating it into 21st-century productions. The storylines I want to bring back are the ones of the vintage era.
“LUXXXE is looking to bring back performers who’ve retired during that era,” he reveals. “They can be men of an older generation, but if they look good and have the mojo and everything to do it (perform), my studio will bring them on.” Daniels added that he’s already in talks with several iconic performers to be LUXXXE exclusives.
As well, J. D. gives us the 411 on his brand new Noir Male feature, co-starring Armond Rizzo and Jake Waters.
And Y’all, this is only the tip of the iceberg! There are many surprises to experience! This is one helluva jam-packed, stimulating, and uber-entertaining installment of WYATT! You won’t wanna miss this one.
Simply put, WYATT! is “Eargasm For Tha Grown Folks!”
